Inside the seal team that does not exist

The world’s most wanted man is dead.Osama Bin Laden mastermind behind twin towers 9/11 attack is no more.he died on may 2nd 2011 at his compound which he was using as a hiding and lived there for the past 5 years.he chose abbottabad as his hide out very close to pakistan military camp only because he felt, since its near to military academy there are very less concerns of any raid or any operation against him.

Abbottabad – known as “city of pines”- is a small town nestled in the beautiful lush, green hills of north-west Pakistan.who would have thought that world’s most wanted terrorist will be staying here among locals as an ordinary man.well he did and safely lived for about 5 years.pakistan says the govt and ISI –  inter services intelligence (pakistan’s spy unit ) had no idea that bin laden was using abbottabad as his hide out.well this is something which i don’t or anyone for that matter would believe.pakistan and terrorism goes hand in hand.most of the terrorist camps are in pakistan which are still operational but pakistan govt denies its presence.but world knows what is happenning in those deserts of pakistan.pakistan has also been home to india’s most wanted man Dawood Ibrahim.its been believed that ISI has been giving protection to Dawood ibrahim for a long time now.indian govt has failed to do anything to capture dawood who is the mastermind behind mumbai 1993 serial bomb blasts.

Pakistan knew the presence of Osama in abbottabad and yet it didnt do anything.govt knew that he was hiding in abbottabad and offcourse ISI  was giving protection to him.if someone comes to me and say that my govt had no idea that what’s happenning in city where its said that world’s most wanted man was hiding,i will say you are a big time liar.offcourse its any ordinary man’s guess.osama bin laden is in your city hiding for 5 years and your govt had no clue ?? common give me a break.this is next to impossible.

Ten years of manhunt came to an end on 2nd may 2011 when United States conducted a top secret operation to capture Bin Laden.good it was top secret misson because if United States had shared it with anyone from outside Osama could have fled from his hide out was not possible to capture osama dead or alive without keeping the secrecy of this covert operation.only few personals from the intelligence had knowladge about this mission and it was not shared from anyone outside.

The operation took place at a fortified compound on the outskirts of Abbottabad in north-west Pakistan. It happened at some time between 0000 and 0130 local time on Monday morning (1900-2030 GMT on Sunday).the two US helicopters were seen flying low in the area causing panic among locals in the was 40 minutes firefight between US lead commandos and Osama’s personals. At the climax, at the end of a 40-minute firefight, one of the soldiers uttered the words: “Geronimo EKIA” – meaning a man visually identified by a code word for Bin Laden had been killed in action.A high-risk operation given the green light by President Barack Obama in what his counter-terrorism adviser, John Brennan, termed “one of the gutsiest calls by any president in recent memory” had achieved its aim, the death of Washington’s most wanted man.

so now as its been done everyone is looking for answers that who conducted it ? who killed world’s most wanted terrorist ? who had this much of courage to get into the belly of another country and successfully complete one of the most dangerous and outrageous covert operation in recent memory ?

Its none other then SEAL TEAM 6 .meet SEAL TEAM 6. a team which don’t even exist.

SEAL TEAM 6 (ST6)

Naval Special Warfare Development Group (NSWDG) a/k/a: Dev Group, DEVGRU

Headquarters: Dam Neck, Virginia, USA
Formed: 1980

SEAL team 6 is an unofficial name for an elite group of forces  which conducted operation to kill osama bin laden.they are so secret that they hardly make news in the media or in the news papers.its not even an official name SEAL TEAM 6.infact team 6 does not even exist.Officially, the team’s name is classified and not available to the public, technically there is no team 6. A Tier-One counter-terrorism force similar to the Army’s elusive Delta group, Team 6’s mission rarely make it to paper much less the newspaper.

The members of team 6 are all black operatives and they conducted their operations outside military protocol.engage in operations of heighest priority and of utmost maintain the plausible deniability of the team ,if any member of the unit is caught, records of black operations rarely if ever kept.

The team was formed in 1980 and is based near west was in direct response to rescue american hostages held in iran in 1980 when an attempt was made to rescue hostages but it was a big failure in all respects and illustrated the need for counter terrorist team capable of operating in utmost secrecy.

The Team was labeled 6 at the time to confuse Soviet intelligence about the number of SEAL teams in operation at the time.

There are no names available for any of the seal team members.but CIA does recruit members from their ranks to carry out wonder why these members were chosen by CIA to carry out this special operation.its not been confirmed that the it was indeed SEAL TEAM 6 which carried out operation in Abbottabad to kill Bin Laden but it is widely thought that it was the Seal Team Six (ST6), officially known as the Naval Special Warfare Development Group, but more commonly known as DevGru.

Some known fact about SEAL TEAM 6 (ST6)

  • Elite force of Seals, based near Virginia Beach
  • Selected from all the units, to carry out the most demanding missions
  • Usually have five years of experience already
  • The unit belongs to the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) which is run at a cost of more than $1bn a year

  • Existence shrouded in mystery
  • They reportedly train around the clock and can spend 300 days a year away from home

1985 – Six deployed to the site of the Achille Lauro hijacking in anticipation of a possible assault on the vessel.

1985 – SEAL Team Six members were also responsible for the rescue and evacuation of Governor Sir Paul Scoon from Grenada during Operation Urgent Fury. Four SEALs were lost to drowning during helicopter insertion offshore. Other aspect of the operation included the securing of a radio transmitter which resulted in heavy contact with Grenadian forces.

1989 – The unit took part in Operation Just Cause as part of Task Force White, which included SEAL Team Two. Their primary task, along with Delta Force, was the location and securing of Panamanian strongman Manuel Noriega.

1990 – They again operated in Panama as part of a secret operation code-named “Pokeweed” which had as its goal the apprehension of Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar. Although Six was deployed from the US aircraft carrier USS Forrestal offshore, the mission was unsuccessful due to poor pre-assault intelligence.

1991 – SEAL Team Six reportedly recovered Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide under cover of darkness following the coup which deposed him.

1991 – Six was also part of contingency planning for shooting down Saddam Hussein’s personal helicopter with Stinger missiles, although this operation never got beyond the planning stage.

1996 – The unit reportedly deployed to Atlanta, Georgia as part of a large US counterterrorist contingency plan for the 1996 Summer Olympics. (NOTE: The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Hostage Rescue Team [HRT] is responsible for domestic CT and was the primary response unit).

SEAL TEAM 6 training is so tough and gruelling that the drop out rate is 80-85%.only few chosen make their names in SEAL TEAM 6 unit.SEAL TEAM 6 is indeed a crown for any country military intelligence.what they have pulled out in abbottabad was no less than an audacious act.not easy to cross the border of any country and carry a combat operation to kill world’s most wanted terrorist.

In more recent years, the Seals have been heavily involved in missions in Afghanistan and Iraq.

But their role in the death of Osama Bin Laden writes another chapter in their history.
